The USGA Women's Amateur Championship - 1910

Dorothy Campbell, recent Canadian Women's Champion, won the medal round with a record equaling 85 and USGA Women's Championship as well. It was an all British final round as Campbell defeated Mrs.G. M. Martin of Devonshire, England 2 and 1. The match was played October at the Homewood Country Club (now Flossmoor Country Club) in Flossmoor, Illinois.
There were 32 qualifiers for the match out of 57 entries, 109 strokes was the highest score of those eligible to compete.

The Women's Western Championship 1910

Skokie Country Club, Glencoe, Illinois was host to the Women's Western and it was won by Sallie Ainslie (Mrs. Thurston) Harris of Westward Ho!. Mrs. H.L. Pound was runner up.
Sixty-five women lined up to play the Western and Mrs. A. F. Heaning of Windsor Golf Club won the medal round scoring a 95, followed by Miss Hull with an 101.

The Women's Golf Association of Massachusetts - Amateur Championship - 1910

The tournament was played at Wollaston and won by Fanny C. Osgood of The Country Club.

The North and South Women's Amateur Championship - 1910

The championship took place on March 22 through 26. Louise Elkins of Oakmont was the medalist with a 91 and Mrs. C. H. Vanderbeck of Philadelphia was next with 93 and she also won the event.
There were 16 qualifiers.

The Women's Eastern Golf Association 1910

Fanny Osgood traded victories with Mary B. Adams (Mrs. E. C.) Wheeler, Jr. as she once again won the WEGA. Osgood won the tournament by 9 stokes.
It took 72 holes of medal play at Huntingdon Valley with this year's addition of a handicap to decide the winner.

Women's Championship of Florida 1910

The tournament took place in Palm Beach, Florida.
Gladys Rosenthal of Ravinsloe Club in Chicago won the medal for the low score in qualifying with a 94. Mrs. E. H. Fitler, Lillian B. Hyde and Mrs. Milton Work all tied for 2nd with a 96.
The format was match play and there were a mere eight women who qualified.

Miss. C. Ingalls of Cincinnati defeated Gladys Rosenthal of Chicago 1 up after 19-holes.
Lillian B. Hyde of South Shore defeated Polly Stenttinius of Cincinnati 6 and 5.

Mrs. E. H. Fitler of Merion won over Lou Hyde of South Shore 7 and 5.

The Country Club's Invitation Tournament for Ladies

Played at Clyde Park Country Club, Brookline, Massachusetts from October 17 to 20.
This tournament immediately followed the USGA Women's Amateur and managed to get some Canadian golfers, including Dorothy Campbell the newly crowned US Women's Amateur Champion. Chicago, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh Players participated as well.
Seventy-six women showed up to compete on the qualifying 18 holes, and the medalist was Mary Adams Wheeler, Jr. with a 93. Harriot Curtis and Dorothy Campbell next in line with 97's.
The event was divided into 6 divisions, related to their scores in the qualifying rounds.

First Division:
Margaret Curtis over her sister Harriot Curtis, 7 and 6.
Second Division:
Martha (Mrs. G. W.) Roope Brae Burn over Miss E. C. Nesbitt, 1 up.
Third Division:
Miss A. Phipps of Springfield defeated Miss F. Harvey of Ontario, 3 and 2.
Fourth Division:
Carmelita Shreve of Brae Burn beat Miss K. F. Duncan, 4 and 2.
Fifth Division:

The Women's Metropolitan Golf Association Championship 1910

The eleventh year of the event took place at the Montclair Golf Club from May 31 to June 3, 1909. Thirty-four players started and after the medal round was played both Lillian B. Hyde and Julia R. Mix tied for the medal with 90. Mrs.W. Fellowes Morgan came in second with a 91. There were only 8 qualifiers.

The tournament was played at Exmoor Country Club, Highland Park, Illinios on August 3 to 5, 1910.
The medal round was won by Sallie Ainslie (Mrs. Thurston) Harris of Westward Ho! with an 85.
Only eight women qualified but remarkably all their qualifying scores were 95 strokes and under.
